KFC Australia wanted to increase their social community on Facebook to 500,000 fans to help their brand message get seen by more customers. From managing the community directly, I knew that their fans are passionate about many items on the menu, but The Double was a clear favourite. I constructed a campaign to prove that when you give the people what they want, social media is one powerful tool. The campaign consisted of lots of build up to reaching 500,000 fans and creative visuals and content to support it with promise of The Double coming to stores nationwide. The campaign was so successful at driving sales, the client then looked to social media for all future product pushes.
